I am trying to accurately estimate the arrival times of the train into Dublin.

Im looking at the Irish rail schedule and I can see the scheduled departure and arrival times of the train.

What Im looking for is a record of actual arrival times into the train station so that I can try and predict the actual arrival time of particular trains.

I know that I can do this with Flightradar for example and see what planes are arriving at particular times.

If you're writing code to get this data, Irish Rail's webservice is available at

Can you link to where it is?

I know that if i look at the booking system and look at a live train that is coming in late, it shows us +5 in red, for five minutes late etc, but I cannot look back to say a train two days ago to see how late it was can I ??

If your train is arriving into Heuston, if all goes well services tend to arrive 3-5 minutes ahead of scheduled time however it really depends on various factors. Outside peak it's more likely to happen but at peak most services will arrive at scheduled time.

Possibly not - but you should be able to build a database to regularly capture the arrival data from the provided links. Capture them for a period of time and you should be able to perform a statistical analysis to get the information you require.
