JTG, Phoenix from the flames. Dennehy taking the opportunity to wax lyrical about Healy's performance, it being the antithesis of all that is rotten in the sport, yet JTG, a website formerly with a weekly piece devoted to drugs on TUEsdays, remained when their buddy buddy Colvert got done for EPO. One rule for one...

Daily piece? First thing up on that website since November by the looks of things.

Amended. A large amount of their coverage was on drugs, unfortunately a large amount of athletics news is about drugs, but they conveniently sidestepped Colvert's drugs ban last July. They'd no problem giving Martin Fagan a hard time.

How do you know he is a friend of theirs? I don't believe he is.

They posted loads about him, and discussed it in detail on the podcast at the time.

They posted nothing after the decision Chivito, aside from the article below, which is basically just Colvert's statement.

    He got an easy ride.

There's a podcast somewhere in there where they called him a cheat.

How you can assume he is a friend of theirs is beyond me.

And Fagan got a hard time because he made a comeback. Colvert hasn't made a comeback (ban hasn't expired yet), and it's looking very doubtful that he will.

Post it up there Chivito. Porkies, he got it easy man.

Fagan didn't make a comeback, he ran a load of Mickey Mouse races, the Ballygobackwards Half Marathon and such likes, not one competitive race.

Colvert on the other hand you can only speculate about for now.

So the Zurich Marathon in an Olympic qualification time isn't a competitive race?

If I can find it I will post it up. I'm not searching through every 40 minute podcast to find it.

Championship is competitive Chivito. He avoided Championship. He tested the water in Zurich, and made the decision he made based on the reaction he got, he thought about returning to Championship action, and didn't.

That's grand, but for now there was nothing on him. It'll will be interesting to see the reaction he'll get if he returns this time next year.

Lovely! Now it looks like I started this thread, when all I did was post up the link to their story about Phil Healy on the other thread!
