Which bike to buy

    I'm looking to buy a bike but I don't have a bogs notion what to get, the bike will be used on road to cycle 10/15 miles to work once in a blue moon, other times it be used will be to put a child seat and cycle with my daughter and then cycle to the dart station (1mile) and down to the local shops,
    So if anyone can help out with the make/style (I was thinking giant hybrid??), and any other help would be great, on locks, clothing, insurance and anything else that might come in handy,

    A hybrid sounds like something you are after. I don't know anything about Giant ones though but you could try somewhere like halfords and see what package you could get for a Boardman Hybrid with all the accessories you mentioned, including the child seat yoke.
