    At last we are here.

Playing at 856 pm this evening - got 8 holes in in 56 minutes.

The time of year the pain pays back - there was a stillness and a peacefulness this evening that makes you fall back in love with this game.

You could feel it cool down quickly and notice the growth on the course.

    We made it at last.

3 over - playing just ok - but most enjoyable golf in a long time.

    Love it Fix,
Great time of the evening to play, especially on the links, at my place I was chipping and putting last week, looked up and was pitch black. Was in the middle of the course on my own, mad feeling! Love this time of the year though!

Was class - when you picked up ball you could feel how cold it was - and you could physically notice the green slow down as the evening cooled.

    Was stunning.

I still love this game - no matter how hard life or work or any problem is - it is lost out there.

Played 4 holes in 30 minutes. Perfect out there again.

You can definitely see a longer carry and flight in the ball.

10 rounds of golf in 5 days? savage stuff, bring plenty of tayto. Should do your game wonders being in a professional capacity for a week. I remember a few years ago I took a week off in mid April and played golf for 9 consecutive days with a different open singles each day, really kicked started my game and laid a great base for the year ahead.

The itch to leave work at 5.00 on the dot, and be walking down the 1st by 5.20, and have light for 18 holes.
    Love this time of year!!!

That's something I find very hard to do. I usually end up joining someone else on the course. I need someone to gauge myself against.

I play two balls. I'm playing against myself essentially.
Match play between the two balls :pac:

Great practice game for a few holes if you are on your own and feel like really pushing yourself. Reverse scramble, tee off with two balls, pick the worst one play 2 from there and pick the worst and so on.

It's absolutely brutal as a good shot or great putt is absolutely worthless unless you can do it again.

To be honest I wouldn't recommend this game for high handicappers but if you are a fairly competent player this is great practice. Great feeling when you make a par at this game.

Apparently it's a practice game that a lot of tour players use and some of them shoot under par for a full round doing it which is just mind boggling really!

Rossapenna? Cracking location, if the weather is like this there is no better place to play golf. If you have never played make sure you play portsalon while your up there, gem of a course.

In last night at 9.30 after a post work round, message waiting for me for a round today after work, permission slip granted, out again this evening, whoo hoo. Get it while the weather's there is my motto.
