Campervan TV Licence clarification

    There was a discussion here last week about Tv Licence requirements in campervans. That thread is closed so cannot post there and it is inconclusive. So to clarify the situation I asked the issuing agent (AnPost Tv Licence Dept) whether a licence is needed and I got the following response.
    Thank you for your email.

    You do not require a Tv Licence for a motorised vehicle which has a Tv Set installed.eg (Campervan, Boat, plane)

    If you had a caravan or mobile home a Licence would have been required.

    For once good news!
