Disability Allowance and working.

I've been receiving disability allowance since April 2015. I am currently coming to the end of a 3 year business course in a IT. During college months I receive BTEA.

I have applied for a few jobs and got word back today that I have a interview for a well know Irish company (call services).

I am just wondering what will happen if I get the job with regards to my disability allowance? Obviously I'm not expecting to keep getting paid by the disability allowance but will I loose my free travel pass? my household benefits package? etc

the first 120 per week is disregarded, every euro over that up to an amt (which i can't remember offhand) is taken at 50c off your DA. You can work up to 20hrs per week in rehabilitative work. The doc has to certify your work would be rehabilitative and benificial to you and not a hinderance to whatever condition has you on da).

Part time or full time makes a big difference. If you are able for full time work, then you don't qualify for disability anymore. You will lose your travel pass. I can't comment on other benefits. There are possibly other benefits you can apply for while working full time.
