Hi Boardsies,

I'm in the process of teaching myself the basics of website design and I'd like to put my theory into practice through a blog / website. I know the web is littered with blogs but really it is just a means of applying what I have learned - personal satisfaction and all that

I have registered my chosen .com domain name and now I am looking for a cost effective web host? Who do people recommend? It will literally be a blog type site with portfolio section / a few photos to accompany each blog. So I do not think I require major services.
