How have you split the page? Columns or table?

    Two pages side by side

    Some possibilities:
    • Different margin specified for first page
    • Paragraph spacing different (first page text has extra paragraph or line spacing applied)
    • One has a special format applied and the other does not (i.e. you made it look like the other one by manually changing the typeface and color)
    • The header on the first page contains an extra line space
    • There is an extra line space above the text on the first page
    • There is no page break between the two pages

Without being able to apply "view codes" on the document or see the rest of the document, it's very hard to say.
