    Hey lads,

When rolling my driver seat forward yesterday I heard a loud popping/ bang underneath the seat. And now the left rail under the seat won't move forward or back

Is this a new seat job or easy fix.

Yes, but take a good look yourself with a torch.

Could be a foreign object that got snarled up. Also, maybe the right rail is not in the same position as the left one.

Same happened me a while ago just after a valet-guy had moved the seat back and couldn't move it back again. He'd a clever solution when he couldn't see the runners - got the camera on his phone and took photos at an angle and with that was able to see there was two eur stuck on the runner. He got it out and saved me a garage bill for taking seat off etc.

Can you unbolt the runners from the floor?

Same thing happened us and I found a pen had fallen into the rail where it was out of sight. Took a while and some contortionist positions to get a good look at it.
