Quad-X Power Shredder

    The Quad-X Power Shredder looks to provide a great solution to battling rushes/scrub in marginal land where tractor access is becoming increasingly sporadic.

    However, the videos on the Quad-X site are not very convincing. The shredder doesn't look robust and the quality of cut seems poor.

    Has anyone real experience with these Quad-X Power Shredder?

    Power has to be the big problem... top of the range has 23HP which to cut a 1.5m wide swarth of rushes seems very little..

    Also, running a 23HP motor flat out and your Quad too would be tasty on petrol.

    Sure the quad wouldbarely be moving ... would a quad go many places a 35(or similar on wide tyres wouldnt ?

    Priced 5ft blaney top of the range 3in1 €5500 priced an abbey 6ft flail topper 2nd hand €700 span new €1350 whats your thoughts

    Spotted those last night alright there a lot cheaper than quad x whether thats because of the sterling or because there better i dont know
