Is this a good starter bike? Had major surgery on my left shoulder so need something a bit comfortable if possible.

Cycled a cube with drop handles a few times and while it hurts a bit, it seems to be helping build up my shoulder again so would like to stick with them.

Not really sure what else I need to add to this post, so I'll just answer any extra things people would like to know before saying yes or no.

That's an awesome starter bike maybe even too good. One problem is Canyon have been having major problems with their new order/delivery services leaving customers with no bike for months after purchase so unfortunately I'd steer clear from it.

I had surgery on my shoulder before Christmas so I was off my bike for a while. The thing I found that helped build my shoulder back up was physio. Lots of physio. If you get a decent physio they will give you a specific rehab for cycling.

In terms of the bike... If you're experiencing pain, you might be better off in a bricks and mortar shop so that you can get a feel for how the bike feels for your shoulder.

And be prepared to have to change your riding position as your shoulder improves. My reach changed after surgery so everything else had to!
