Bar end shifter

    Howdy,

    putting together a touring bike. Need a barend shifter if anyone has one lying around (or a set of two although I've one already lying in the spares pile). Friction shift would suit or failing that indexed for eight speed. None of this 21st century nonsense.

    If anyone has a set of drop bar brake levers for use with V-brakes I might be interested as well, or failing that a decent set of canti's for small or reasonable money.

    Yes....possibly. ;-)

    Want to change my Surly DT Shimano 9 speed bar ends to down tube shifters soon.
    Won't be today or tomorrow though.
    Compatible with RD 7700(9s) & RD 7400(8s).

    Just need to jump and buy the DA downtube shifters.
    Bare with me.
