My last two rides have not been saved on my Garmin 500. Not sure why this is.
Today I got to my front gate and pressed stop and then reset.
When I got out of the shower I wanted to take a look at the file and upload to Strava. File missing as was Fridays file.

I have searched the web and cannot find a way to recover lost files.

Does anyone here know of a way to recover a lost Garmin file.

    Thank you in advance.

I tried cursing, then when that didn't work I found http://garmin.kiesewetter.nl, and when that didn't work I cursed some more, posted in the "went for a cycle" thread and went out for a beer.

See how those steps work for you.

Half my ride today disappeared into the great black hole of missing files. Found that site earlier, had a look at it and thought I couldn't be bothered.
    I'm now having a beer.:)

    Log onto strava
Recreate the route that you cycled.
Input your average speed (use previous rides as I guide)

Then ... (And this is the magic bit) input the date MANUALLY...

    Than have a beer..

Just have a beer. We all believe you went for those spins, there's no need to produce proof.
