HI doctorg, thanks for the post.

Unfortunately this is now a finished model, and we don't have any stock remaining of it

We do have the replacement model, the 55KS9000 available - https://www.richersounds.ie/p-201931-ue55ks9000.aspx at £2099 / €2899 if that is of any interest?
Or we would have some remaining stock of the model down, the 55JS8500 at £1349/€1899

Regards
Brian

What I'm looking for ideally is a 4k curved 55 inch TV.

I've looked at a few different models from lg sony and samsung. My budget would be to keep it under 2k. Which TV would you guys recommend ?

Android from Sony looks interesting but not sure how good it is or even worth.
Thanks

Cheers Doctorg,

The best option under €2k in a 55" 4k would be an LG - http://euro.richersounds.ie/p-201928-55uh770v.aspx at €1999 - an absolute cracker of a TV

However if you can go up to a 58", have a look at the new Panasonic TX58DX750 - http://euro.richersounds.ie/p-201900-viera-tx58dx750b.aspx at €1969 - the new range from Panasonic are absolutely stunning, and would definitely be my choice

Cheers

This looks good on paper, how would this compare to Samsung 55" JS9000?

Can't seem to find much on this model

Hey Doctorg.

The 55KU6500 has yet to be released. That's why I there are no real reviews as of yet.

The 9000 range was Samsung's top of the line screen. I would need to see the picture on the 6500 first hand to make a comparison. Although as you say on paper it does look very good.
In saying that we have the 55KS7500 mentioned above on display in our store and it is fantastic!

The replacement for the JU9000 series is now the KS9000 which is priced at £2099.00

HI Doctorg, apologies for the delay in getting back to you.

We have started to see these models moving through, and have to say they are very impressive.
Definitely picture is an improvement on the last models, theyve been working on colours mostly for this range, and blacks in particular

Hi Doc,

thanks for your patience!

On the 55JS9000 - I'm happy to match the £1899 price you quote, but that price only includes a standard 12 month warranty and excludes delivery to Ireland - If you add delivery and a 6 year warranty the total is £2514 - we have the unit available from stock and I'll match £1899 including our 6 year warranty and delivery to Ireland.

On the 55KS500 - that retailer does not deliver to Ireland and again there is no mention of any extended warranty - again I'm happy to match the £1417.97 price and we will add the 6 year warranty and delivery to Ireland - stock is really tight on that model but we do have them available for delivery today.

Many thanks and of course if you would like to order please just drop us a line to sales@richersounds.ie with your contact details and one of the guys will get back to you to arrange a delivery,

Best regards,

Thanks for this John, I really appreciate the effort here. I don't want to push too much but just curious if the 'We'll beat any price 'til it hurts, even from the web & give you upto £100!' applies here and if not why?

Thanks! Do I need to come to the Dublin office for the order and what are your usual delivery times ?

Thanks!

PS: from Samsungs website on the cashback offer they are running,

Do you guys have all of these models ?
R7 (WAM7500/7501)
R6 (WAM6500/6501)
R5 (WAM5500)
R3 (WAM3500/3501*)
R1 (WAM1500/1501*)

I only see R1 and R5 on the website. I was interested in R3

No problem,

our price beat details are here:
http://www.richersounds.ie/t-pricebeat.aspx

If a unit is between £1000/3000 we will price-beat by £20 - however to be fair to us on both the cases you quoted above the offer isn't like for like - on the 55KS9000 if you add a 6 year warranty and delivery to Ireland then the total price is over £2500 - we are quoting £1899 including delivery and a 6 year warranty.

On the 55KS7500 - the company you have listed doesn't even deliver to Ireland and again there is only a standard warranty as far as I can see - our price of £1417 includes delivery straight to your home and a 6 year warranty.

I'd never let £20 spoil a deal on a significant purchase but to be fair to us we cannot be expected to price-beat by £100 when the offering is significantly different - I'm happy to do further £20 discount and of course if you can find the same product, in stock, with broadly the same conditions and delivery to Ireland I'll happily look at any other price beats.

In terms of ordering and payment - if you would like to go ahead you can just give us a call or drop us your contact number and we can arrange everything over the phone - we don't have a public office in Dublin anymore unfortunately.

In terms of Samsung rewards there is £150 on both the 55KS7500 and 55KS9000 which you can use against another Samsung product up to 28 days after purchase and Samsung will reimburse you for this second purchase up to the £150 limit - we do have the R3 online and in stock - you can check it out here:
http://www.richersounds.ie/p-201674-r3-black.aspx

Thanks again and keep us posted,

Best regards,

John Mc & Crew
