    Heeey :)

Ive an interview to work in Skechers, just as a sales assistant. In the email about my interview, they told me to dress for the interview the way i think a skechers employee would dress. The problem is I have no idea what they wear. Could anyone please help me with this. I dont want to turn up wearing something that is not a thing like the uniform :D..

    Thanks :)

Have you been to a Sketchers shop to see what they wear? Presumably it is at least some of their footwear?

Could you pay a visit to a store before your interview?

Would be no harm to talk to the staff and suss out what they wear, but also to get a bit of knowledge on the product range - what are the best sellers, what different categories there are (running, leisure etc.)

If you go in to the interview with a bit of homework done, and with a positive attitude, you should have no problem getting the job :)

Thanks for yer reply.. The store that i have applied for is just opening, so i have no way of going in and seeing what they wear. The closet Skechers store to me is in Dublin, which is about 2 and a half hours, so cant go in and talk to staff there. Im not nervous about the interview as i am quite good at them. Im just nervous about what to wear because i have no idea what a skecher uniform is like :(

My memory isn't the best but I think the last time I was in a sketchers store there wasn't a uniform as such; staff wore clean, neat casual type clothing. Im almost certainly the girl that served me wore a dress.

Best of luck with the interview!

Ah don't worry - I'd err on the smarter side of casual - not forgetting the Skechers if you own / can borrow a pair!

I'd still advise going on their website and studying the range, finding out how many stores they have etc - it'll show that you're keen, and could give you the edge in the interview :)

Why not ring a store and ask someone? Obviously not in a creepy "what are you wearing?" way, but explain the situation and ask for advice.
