Noticed part of the door seal is loose on the rear passenger door of my car today - was sticking out under the door with the door shut which is how I saw it. Can I just stick this back on? If so what should I use?

    You can use doublesided tape.

Will that not just come off again?

No, the closed door will hold everything in place during transport.

I work in a ford dealership in Kildare, this happens after a while best thing to do is order a new one think it's about €50. Best thing is to remove it all & clean off the excess glue from the old one & start from the bottom following where the old one sat & go around the door when they meet it'll be longer so cut with a sharp knife or Stanley blade where they meet.

If you use standard thinners be careful not to remove paint. If it's not in the right areas it'll leak water into the back of the car. If you stick the old one where it's hanging off it will just come back off.

If your unsure to do it best bet would be to book it in shouldn't take long to do.

A bit of tec7 will hold it on.

It's a water proof adhesive sealant. Any hardware will stock it.
