Hi all, can anyone tell me if this used car site is legit for car valuations, and history on cars? Thank you very much

History yes, valuations are just generated from average asking prices more than anything I think.

Do you think it gives you a good idea if a dealer is overpricing car? In USA you have Kelly bluebook, nothing like it in Ireland, makes things hard. I don't like going in to buy a car thinking that someone is trying to get one over on me, makes the experience horrible.

It's pretty easy to have a look around at comparible cars on the likes of donedeal or Carzone for free. A valuation figure does no harm but it's not something I'd pay for.
The revenue VRT calculator would give you a rough figure to work from too.
There is an Irish blue book equivalent used within the trade, but isn't publicly available.

Have you got a particular car in mind?
