Online FETAC LVL5 Healthcare support

I'm wondering about this course FETAC LVL5 Healthcare support 5m4339

It is being provided by chevron training and opencollege as a online course with a work experience module.


How do employers rate online courses? It a QQI, formally FETAC award. Would it be better to try and arrange work experience before or after applying for the course? Are places willing to give work experience? Would it be better to wait until the VECs start back in Sept and do their course? One of the advantage of the online course is the immediate start.

Any suggestions or experiences?

The local VEC is only 450, but would cost more that 450 in travel etc over the length of the course.

If employers rate the online courses the initial financial outlay would be doable, but if the VEC courses are held in higher esteem regarding getting work then that would be the best option!
