Earpiece two pin in Galway

    Just wondering where I can pick up a earpeice and mic two pin set in Galway city???

    You would need to be a little more specific with the model. I'm guessing a Baofeng or something similar.

    Maplin do them but they have several models and Baofeng is not one of them IIRC. They're marked Kenwood or Motorola etc so you'll have to figure out which one is right for your radio. They also have different styles such as regular earplugs and 'covert' clear plastic spiral tubey ones (I don't understand what people use those for, these days nothing would be more conspicuous than one of those :) if I wanted to hide my radio I'd use Apple earbuds :))

    Most of them have those double plugs with 1x 2.5mm and 1x 3.5mm, not sure if that's like what Baofeng have. Mind that even if the plug fits, the electrical connections may be different.

    Anyway worth checking it out. I don't know any other shop that does them in Galway, Cellcom in Oranmore had two-way radio stuff before but I think they're gone, their website is gone anyway.

    Of course online you can get the widest range and much cheaper than Maplin as always.
