Hi, just wondering if anyone knows if I could be failed for turning up to a driving test with the pump for the water spray for the back windscreen wipers not working?
Mechanic says thetube is blocked some how and he wasn't able to clear it after trying for a good while, but he reckons it wouldn't fail on that.
Car has also passed nct without it.
Is it worth the risk turning up and failing within 5 minutes or would they be able to fail me even on that?
    Thanks all

Can't see it being an issue. Clean the glass before the test.

It's not a requirement for roadworthiness to have this either way.

Get a can of compressed air and blast it down the nozzle

I hope not, but I know they ask to demonstrate know how to use the pump on front window at least!

Plenty of cars don't have a rear wiper at all
