Hi all ..my own 1.9tdi caddy..2006 van has little or no power at the moment..i plugged into it and fault code p0299 comes up(turbo/supercharger underboost) PERMANENT

I changed the boost pressure sensor and it was perfect for a day..so thinking i had bought a faulty sensor i swapped sensors from a freinds van but no difference..so its not the boost sensor..

I also have 2 other faults camshaft sensor no signal p03007 and engine coolant temp circuit high input..intermittent p0118
But i have them faults with 2 years

Any one got a idea on what my problem could be..its a head scratcher

Broken wires in the engine loom. Seen it loads of times with them.

Hi george but when i turn it off and back on it works for a couple of miles...then turbo goes..switch van off and it works again..

They can sometimes behave like that alright. Of course it is also possible that there is another issue as well. But you certainly have wiring problems with those fault codes so that should be your starting point.

Did you get a genuine or spurious boost pressure sensor? We have had to bin countless spurious sensors to refit genuine, the cheap ones just don't work properly.
