    Just heading out the door so just to start a race thread. Orica apparently the team to beat, Gilbert let out on parole to race this one, Kwiatkowski hoping for a win in celebration of Great Britain, & so on. Dan Martin skipping this one.

    Live on ES. Just turned on & horrible wet weather, break of 10 or so riders with 3 minutes on peloton.

    just tuned in, weather seems all over the place blue skies alongside manky grey clouds. break off up the road and the usual traffic jams at the bottom of the climbs

    Tim Wellens with 4k to go and about 18 second lead. Orica need to catch him after all their hard work in the peloton

    Had to put ES on pause there for me dinner. Great to see the two guys escape & hold on for the win. Will be hugely emotional for Wanty team. Tim Wellens & Gasparotto both lit it up in finale & delighted win came from one of them. Albasini from Orica drove himself half to death the efforts he was putting in trying to keep his men in the picture. Michael Matthews might have a pop at him though for not doing a good enough job!

    Emotional win by Wanty -Gobert ... Must be very hard for them these last weeks...
    I have never met the rider and it makes me sad just to think about it or see him in videos


    Will try and get a thread in earlier for La Fletche & LBL where I expect Dan Martin to deliver in at least one
