    Hi guys

I have one of these record players: http://m.richersounds.com/#!/product/gpo-stylo-blk

and was wondering what recommendations you'd have for good quality and good value speakers to hook up to it to boost the sound quality a bit? Thanks!

    Hi,

The GPO Stylo only has an active output which will not run a normal set of passive speakers. You would need to add the turntable to an amplifier and then a set of speakers. You can do this with a very basic Cambridge AM1 amplifier at £79 and a pair of speakers like the JBL Control 1s. Alternatively you could add a set of active (or pre-amplified) speakers to the turntable without the need for a separate amp. You can get a set of Tibo Plus 2s which also have a bluetooth connection.

Either of these options would give you a better sound than you can get from the GPO on board speaker.

    Many Thanks
