    anyone know where I could get my hands on Inter cert exam papers from the 80's
    would be interesting to compare with the current junior cert......

    You could try the SEC.
    I have a Group Cert. Humanities paper I must scan and put up.

    The first thing you'll notice about the old papers is how small the print was.
