Hi all, I have an 05 Ford Fiesta that I adore, but I have been thinking about getting a brand new Ka or Fiesta. My Fiesta is well cared for, low mileage, regular services and I have had things like the timing belt, fan belt replaced when needed. Recently also a new coil spring. I wouldn't get a younger second hand car, looking around there are very few with as good mileage as my own. Just wondering what people's thoughts are on the Ka versus Fiesta. I wouldn't go any bigger than either of those so even the Focus wouldn't really enter my mind. I mostly do city driving, would be on the M50 once or twice a week as well and maybe two or three longer journeys a year. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Ford are doing some great deals on fiestas at the minute, I guess there's a brand new model around the corner.
Fiestas are known for springs breaking with age. This shouldn't be an omen of things to come. By the sounds of it you'll get another 10 years out of your own car if you want - as long as you keep on top of regular maintainance and servicing that all cars (including new ones) need.
If you can afford it though and would eventually change up then why not.
If you know anyone looking for a car, then try and sell yours and then get a discount for not having a trade in from Ford
    Ka vs fiesta? Fiesta really.

Haven't stopped making the current Ka model, wasn't a great seller for Ford and it's not a patch on the Fiesta anyway. New model Fiesta is due early next year btw.
