Looking to get a decent lawnmower for a medium sized garden – does anyone have any recommendations on type/brand and best place to buy? Thanks.

Get the most powerful one you can afford. and Im not joking here
Honda and Briggs and Statton are the best engines. My garden is uneven and you need al the power you can get

Viking are are good mower too. Have around 3/4 acre to cut and have the MB 655 and its very capable.

All depends on the size of lawn and more importantly the size of your budget!

size and evenness of the lawn, its surprising how even a small estate lawn can be uneven so you need a bit more "oomph" in certain places where it slopes up
