    Q1: The public sewer is leaking. Can you help?

    We can certainly investigate this matter for you, if you can provide the following details by PM:

    - Name;
    - Address; and
    - Contact number.

    Thanks in advance.

    Q2: I have received my First Fix Free letter, what should I do?

    If you have received your First Fix Free letter, you can contact us on 1890 278 278 as you may qualify for a free leak investigation.

    Alternatively, you can contact us here on Boards or by tweeting us @IWCare with the following information:

    - Name;
    - Address; and
    - Contact Number.

    Thanks in advance.

    Q3: I still have not received my TIN. What should I do?

    We're sorry to read that and can most certainly look into this for you.

    To do this, would you mind sending the following details via PM?

    - Name;
    - Address;
    - Account Number and;
    - Confirmation that you are the account holder.

    Q4: I am a landlord and my tenants are moving out. Am I liable?

    If you have previously provided your tenant's names when they moved in, or a tenant has registered themselves for the property, then you would not be liable for that period of time. We would not be able to disclose information relating to your tenant's account, for data protection reasons.

    When your tenant's move out of the property, we would recommend that they contact us to confirm this and provide a forwarding address so that we can send them their final bill, if they have not done so already.

    If there are new tenants moving into the property, you can provide us with their names within 20 working days of their move in. This would need to be processed by calling us on 1890 448 448. Our lines are open from 8am to 8pm, Monday to Friday and 9am to 5:30pm on Saturdays. Irish Water will then write to your tenant to invite them to register. This will ensure that you are no longer liable for water charges whilst the tenant continues to be the occupant of the property.

    If you have any further queries, please feel free to contact us and we will be more than happy to help.

    Q5: What are the payment methods available?

    There are several methods our customers can use to make a payment towards their Irish Water bill. Please see here for a list of our payment options.

    I hope this information helps. Please feel free to contact us should you have any other queries.
