Hi,

Im just wondering if anyone could recommend an independent garage for a DSG gearbox rebuild. i.e. solenoids, DMF and mechatronic unit.

I have symptoms of all the above problems however, ive previously been told by 7th gear in ballycoolin (who assessed the car) that it is likely to be the DMF and clutch packs.

Ive gotten prices for all the above (this is worst case scenario) i.e. solenoids, DMF, Mechatronic of around 3,000.

The car is 2007 golf 6 speed DSG.

Any info much appreciated!
