Anyone experiencing problems with Strava? Lately it seems to auto pause after about 20 seconds into my ride and doesn't restart. Very very annoying. Has anyone had the same problems and if so did you manage to get it sorted out?

I was using a Android device for the last 2 weeks and it happened everyday. Out of my usual 3 spins a day i was lucky if one recorded.

I'm back using my iPhone now without any issues

Using Android. Was out at the weekend, buddy had iPhone which recorded without issue. Hmm I don't like iPhones.

What can be done about Strava-cheats?
ive seen an average speed of near 60kmph for an uphill drag of over 2km !!!!!!!

Are you sure its a cheat? Maybe someone was drafting a car, or the effort was wind assisted?

If you strongly suspect it was i.e. a vehicle ride, flag it. It will remove results from leaderboards until the user proves it was real.

I do it sometimes.

Can the person whos ride youve flagged find out ?

Ah! I thought it was my phone or my jacket interfering with reception or something. Lost two good rides, really annoying.

They will be notified about tge the flag, but not the person who did it

A few months ago I had a problem with Strava. I suddenly noticed that, apart from recording your monthly kms, its a load of w**k. Now I just log rides as private and it's much better.
