Looking for an RPG free play world (like GTA) but for kids?

Hi, my 3 year old nephew loves GTA. We watch him play (sound off) he basically just gets in and out of cars, waits for trains etc. Obviously the game isn't child-friendly so we're looking for a similar game that would play on the ps4? Ideally Lego Underworld or Simpsons Hit and Run would be perfect but they're not…

Yeah Lego City Undercover is excellent but Wii-U/3DS only afaik. What about Lego Marvel Super Heroes? Tons of content in the game, you can run around the city hopping in and out of vehicles all day long if you want. My 6 yr old loved it. It's a couple of years old at this stage so you might be able to pick it up relatively cheap, not sure. Lego Marvel's Avengers is the newer one.
