Sending alcohol gift to UK

    Hi guys,

I want to send a friend living in the UK a gift of a bottle of whiskey. Does anyone know of a gift website shipping to the UK where I can send a decent bottle and preferably a card as well?
Through google searching I've found giftsdirect .com which don't seem to do cards, and then the likes of Moonpig which do cards but their whiskey is muck. So, basically I'm looking for a happy medium. Or wondering if such a thing exists!
Failing that, is there a cheap way to ship it from here if I were to buy it in a shop? As far as I can see, I can't post liquids (or alcohol for that matter) due to international shipping regulations.

    Very grateful for any help!

Amazon ship alcohol in the UK, and have gift wrap packaging/cards

Master of Malt are the go to site for the booze side, UK based and can ship nearly anywhere legally. They do a range of gift options also but never seen them

As above, masterofmalt.com or local alternative www.celticwhiskeyshop.com

Both ship worldwide and look after all customs and excise.

Green Spot is a very nice whiskey as a gift.

Glendalough 7 years is another of my favourites.
