I'm doing a fencing job for a customer, putting on one row of high tensile wire, he's suppling all the material ie stakes, wire insulators. I drove the stakes for him with tractor and post driver for him, he'd all the stakes spaced out all I'd to do was drive them, I'm going all the labour work for him on the fencing side ad well ie put on insulators, drive staples, put up one row or electric fence hign tensile wire, tighten wire, on off switches, how much should I be charging for my work? Per hour or by the metre?

Set price per hour driving the stakes and then another per hour for the actual fencing. Fair to both sides as long you finish the job in a reasonable amout of time.

How much per metre do you charge for putting up one row of high tensile wire? I drove the stakes with post driver as well. All materials suppled by farmer
