    Anyone know what's the story with warranty ? Will you have to return it to Amazon.de if there's an issue, or do sony pickup locally if there is a problem ?

    I think it's a worldwide warranty with Sony. I don't think they pick it up, but you can drop it to you nearest Sony centre.
    If it arrives faulty, I'm sure Amazon will cover your shipping (with 7 days i think).

    Also, if you end up having any issues you should also be covered here (unlikely it would come to that though).
