    Hi folks.

Could anyone give me a rough estimate of a standard 5n-4" block wall at 3 metres long and 2 metres high.

I need an all-in price (all materials, labour, foundation work etc).

I will be using the cheapo blocks as I will plaster myself later.

No slope or any other awkward stuff.

    Thanks!

    I got a quote of €1100 for a 10m length recently.
Simple calculations say yours should be around €300-€400 but scale of provisions may apply and brings yours to €500?

Not sure a 4" boundary wall is up to standard these days?

It's not a boundary wall, really. It's from a side boundary wall across to the front of the house, with a gate.

We have a large side garden which we want to join with the back garden, if that makes sense. So I suppose it's okay?

Anyway, I got a quote of €400 all in. Sounds resonable to me. I'll mention it to the builder and see what he says.
