    Hi.

I am looking for a tough looking GYM as a location for a film, anywhere in Dublin.
Ideally it would be somewhere with lots of free weight equipment, that hasnt got that glossy finish of most modern films.

Any help would be really appreciated.

    Thanks a million,
    Warren.

Up stairs in Ben Dunne by Jervis looks a bit rough around the edges these days.

What's the one on Capel Street? Think that's mostly free weights.

Haven't been in years but the Hercules club on Lurgan street not far from Capel street was always a rough and ready gym used by the big boys, Bars bolted into walls for pull ups with weights tied to their belts and only free weights.

Raw Gym in Portobello might be what you're after. Near enough to The Bernard Shaw and Harcourt Luas stop.

    Arbour Hill boxing club maybe?

It's not a gym but it doesn't look glossy.
