02 Hotshot Roaming Problem

I have a 02 hotshot with Three and overnight a big 'R' has appeared on the display and i can not connect to the internet. I am guessing the 'R' indicates Roaming but i do not know why it suddenly appeared and more importantly how do I turn it off. Just cant see how to disable the R - please help!

R means you've dropped onto the old o2 network.

Reasons:
A. Outage/Fault in the area
B. The Big Upgrade has temporarily taken your cell offline.

Thanks so do i need to do anything or will it right itself? Have no internet connection at the mo.
