Im looking to take away an existing shower tray that had to be raised and as a result it was stuck under the tray to the tiled floor with some concrete.

Now i want to try and keep the tiles intact as the whole unit is going to the skip.

Is there a way of breaking down the cement or is it just a case of keeping the fingers crossed and trying to chip away at this?

    Any advice welcome _ help!

You could try drill the cement do to tile level and filling the holes with Brick Cleaner. Leave to soak and maybe repeat. Then try breaking it away gently. The Brick cleaner will attack the Cement, Hopefully it will soak under the Concrete and break away the Bond as it attacks the Cement.
