Engine oil leak

    Front crank seal was replaced as oil it was pouring oil, all ok for couple weeks now have another oil leak, this time its defo higher up and seems to collect on the altenator and drips of it then

    Now the leak isnt bad, yet, but im trying to figure were could be leaking from

    Its an 05 tddi connect if anyone has idea ideas on what could be leaking and casuing it to gather wear it is

    Im assuming it a Golf you have as all info not there, but Rocker gasket maybe?

    Also try the dip-stick housing, I know some VAG cars around that time suffered with cracked dip-stick housings due to the plastic material it was made of not able to withstand the heat.

    Its an 05 transit connect with the tddi engine

    Seems the leak is coming from behind the altenator which may be the oil pump gasket at faulty but cant be sure as the leak is that small i cant see it leaking only after a long drive is there a small gathering of it
