Leg warmers (short) or knee warmers

Looking for opinions. I ordered a pair of the smallest leg warmers I could find which came in at 64cm long but we're miles too long on me. I must have really short pins! Anyhow after googling around I can loacte a pair of 62cm which I think will still be too long. Anyone have the same first world problem and how did you solve it? Or should I just get knee warmers??

I have went with NanoFlex (Castelli) ... I have a 33" leg in jeans and the XL were perfect both for leg warmers and I have the same in Knee Warmers (Again perfect fit)

Not being smart but how far do you pull up the warmers on your legs .... Only in cycling forum would this be deemed acceptable to ask :) !!!

I want them to sit with being bunched just below the ankle and sit about and inch inside the shorts but I can't get them across this distance without being bunched and uncomfortable

Sounds to me like you're wearing them too low, either that or your shorts are too short!! I'm 6ft and would probably have around 6 inches of leg warmer under my shorts.

Im inclined to agree with Superlav .... an inch inside the short is very low. I would have mine pulled well up the quad (keep full leg warm!)

I pull them up as far as I can get them to go - they'll slip a bit during a ride anyway. An inch overlap risks a wardrobe malfunction mid-ride!

(Put on leg warmers before putting on bibshorts.)

They're leg warmers and designed to cover just of your leg l. I have two pairs and both sit much higher than an inch but do ultimately fall down a bit while cycling.

Put them on and pull them up full length like you would a pair of trousers and then put the bibs on and adjust any bunching.

Never had a problem with slippage so don't feel the need to compensate for movement by having them so high. Points noted though, I do put them on before bibs. I might just swap them out for knee warmers instead
