Hi can anyone help me with this

I've Helicobacter Pylori in my stomach my doctor took a stool sample a few weeks ago and sent it off and it came back positive and told me I have a bacterial infection.

I first noticed the symptoms around Christmas and I was put on 30mg acid tablets until March. I was then put on a triple dose of antibiotcs. 4 weeks has passed since I finished the antibiotcs

When I finished the antibiotcs around two weeks later the symptoms are back again constant burning gas in my stomach frequent change of bowel movement always passing gas nauesa at certain times of the day even though I never get sick I always feel like I have to.

I returned to my doctor last week and he said that everything will be fine and put me back on the 30mg acid tablets the problem is I know the antibiotcs didn't work properly even though things are not as bad as they were pre antibiotcs there still not 100% and I feel like my doctor is just ignoring me it's not them who has to go home and deal with the stomach cramps or gas all day and night everyday.

I just want this infection killed off it effects my day to day life and when I sit down its always in my head and annoying me can anyone advise me what is the next step to take as I really don't think the acid tablets are improving my symptoms at all ?

    Thanks

    Hi castlebarian,

Medical advice is not permitted on the forum here so unfortunely no one here can suggest what next steps to take. Your should consult your doctor again if the treatment they have prescribed does not appear to be working for you.
