Will my speeds increase?

    Hopefully it's not a silly question :)

I've currently two miles from my local exchange that's been upgraded at the moment to 100mb I guess.

I think I'm on one of the old lines (G.dmt) so my line has always been restricted to 6mb which has been rock solid to just recently.

I just have this hope that my speeds may increase if the exchange is 100mb but it may be false hope so hopefully some one can tell me, so I don't be hoping for something that won't happen

    Thanks

2700m, 10Mb ADSL2+ at best if they put the racks in.

If theres a cab close then you've a chance of much better but if its exchange VDSL only then the upgrade will be minor.

There goes that dream so :(. I thought the blue line for fibre crossing the house would give me some hope.

    Thanks ED

That will help you, but the exchange going live doesnt enable those blue lines all in one go, its a slow process where you'll see KNN doing works along them for extended periods.
