NCT due on BMW - Spare Wheel, Horn & Lights

Afternoon lads. NCT due on my 1 series. Recently changed out the Runflats for non-runflats. Do I need to have a spare in the boot on the day of the test to pass? I have a space saver spare but it just sits in the boot loosely, was going to take it out for test.

My horn only works when the steering wheel is pressed pretty hard in certain places. Should I have that sorted before the test?

With regards to headlight alignment, is it recommended to do it yourself (watch the beams against a blank wall & adjust accordingly) or get it done at a garage?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

    No spare needed.
    If horn fails, it's a free re-test.

Unless you think lights are not correctly adjusted, just put car through as is for now and wait for NCT to decide.

Yes no problem taking it out for the test, a spare is only examined if present and you don't need to have one whether you have run flats or not.
They will check the horn, could pass as is, they normally test this as they are driving your car in to the centre so if you hear it your grand.
Are your light needing alignment? If you don't think they do I wouldn't go near them.

Great, thanks for that. I'll take the spare out so and leave the horn and lights in the lap of the Gods for now.
