    Hi

I'm looking to get a electric connection for a piece of land that I am in the process of purchasing. I need electric for cctv cameras, some mobile splitting equipment and electric fences. Contacted esb and they said to fill out a NC2 form but I'm not sure as it says that I need to submit planning with the application but as I'm not building anything is it planning for say an electrical box? I'm kinda confused about the situation.

How do you propose to secure the connection/meter etc as well as all the stuff you list?
If the location is remote and not inhabited in some shape or form how long do you expect the CCTv cameras to last?

It might just be a handy halting site with its own power supply:D

You need to rethink it, imo.

Farmers often do this for an outlying piece of land.
There used to be a 'drop' available before simply for such purposes, fencer etc. Not sure nowadays. I think the charge is still lower than a domestic connection.
I presume you will have a small lockable hut/kiosk.
I would put N/A in that. See if they come back to you.
