Folks, I'm going to a function next week. I've bought a blush coloured top in Coast and was planning to wear it slim fit black trousers. what colour bag and shoes woul you pair it with and have u seen any nice ones.

I'd probably go for a taupe or stone colour, maybe suede?
What sort of shoes do you like? High, medium heel? Pointed? Stiletto?
I like a pointed stiletto with slim leg trousers.

I usually wear high as I'm only 5ft and I find flats make my legs dumpy. would u go matching bag to shoes - clutch or big?

I like matching or very similar shoes and bag but some would say that's a bit passé now! To me, matching shoes and bag is a timeless look that can make an outfit look very clean and put together, especially when the colours of the top and trousers are so contrasting. I'd probably go for a large clutch, but if it's a 'standing around with a glass of something' event something with a strap would probably be more practical!
I got these at the end of last year and they are gorgeous; in this picture the colour at the back of the heel looks very silvery but in reality it tones in with the rest of the shoe a lot more. They are lovely. Didn't think of that colour. I do fancy a nice clutch but haven't seen any nice ones in the shops. can't order online as I'm running out of time

If there is a Glitzi Bitz store near you it would be well worth a look, they do lovely large clutch bags in a suede type fabric in every colour under the sun, I have several, for some reason they're not on the website! They're around €30

Ah pity, I don't know if there are any independent accessories shops in town but they tend to be my go-to for that kind of thing.

You could also go for any metalic. I think bronze/rose gold would be nice with the colours you've chosen, and maybe a muted metalic, if you're worried about being too shiny.

I love rose gold and I don't mind shiny - I'm a bit of magpie at heart - love a bit of sparkle. I just haven't seen anything yet that I'm mad about so if anyone has seen anything in Dublin City Centre that fits the bill please let me know

Euch those shoes are lovely, and I imeadiately wanted them, but 12cm is just too high (4.7inches for anyone wondering).

I set my self a limit of 10cm/4inches a few years ago, because I'm 5'8 anyway and being crippled is not a good look

I am not a fan of matching clutches or bags. I would pick something like this if it doesn't clash with top:

It also a bit depends how much you want to spend. Zara have some metalic shoes that would be cheaper and I am sure something from Parfois would work too.

I'm heading to Arnotts and River Island at lunch time and I m going to swing by Debenhams as well so hopefully I will find something. I love the rose gold. The top is blush but its embellished around the collar so I can go silver or gold
