Soft skills.

    In regard to "soft" skills, I know what it means but where is the origin of the name soft, what does soft actually relate to ?

    Skills you essentially can't be thought, more personal skills.

    So an example of a hard skill could be learning to use a till, an example of a soft skill would be putting aside the fact you are feeling like ****e, and yet can smile and say "how can I help you" to someone.

    Thanks for input. I kinda know what soft skills mean.

    But I'm more so wondering about where the word "soft" comes from ?

    It's an easy way of saying implicit versus explicit, hard skills i.e. step by step instructions can be learned, soft skills are something that can't necessarily

    I can hand you a manual for a hard skill, but not for a soft skill
