Frampton stripped of WBA Title

    I'm a big fan of Carl but I'm actually glad that he's been stripped here. As a champion you should be willing to take on all comers. Not just be selective. You should fight the best. Rigondeaux is one of the best. Disappointed with McGuigan also.

    Maybe the sport needs to bring in sanctions whereby fighters' licences are suspended for a period of time unless they meet whomever the organisations says they should meet. Likley impossible to implement this, as the sport is so vey messed up.

    Sounds like a good idea but as you said, how would you implement it?

    Frampton against anyone in Belfast would be huge. People here are so social concious its hilarious! Loads of people just want to say they were there, its gone beyond sad. I've seen people I know on FB who have never shown an interest in fighting ever sharing Frampton posts or talking about going to fights.

    Maybe its because he's the 1st sportsmen for some time that everyone feels like they can support(none of this "us vs them" balls)
