Moving into a new place and getting the broadband sorted out. Virgin not available.

Am I right in saying that Eir, Vodafone and Pure Telecom (and Sky) are all selling the same 100mb service so my only concern should be price?

Yes. Some other small differences such as piratebsy thing, Vodafone and youtube and the exact product you want. Bonkers is a good start

When comparing services it is important to consider all your requirements, and not just to compare the basic Broadband service. Eir & Vodafone are full service providers with Mobile, TV, Broadband and landline. Pure do not offer TV or Mobile, and Sky has no Mobile.

Since all the services are based on Eir's Wholesale offer, the price for basic Broadband may not vary hugely, However, mobile costs vary considerably, and Vodafone give very poor mobile discounts on their bundles despite the fact that their Broadband is slightly cheaper than Eir. Sky have a comprehensive TV offer, but it is expensive, and since they don't have Mobile, they can't offer the same bundle discounts as Eir or Vodafone. Most households have 2 or more bill-pay mobiles, so getting a good bundle discount on these may swing the cost of your bundle towards one provider. You may have to wait a year or so for some of your mobile contracts to be ready to change, but picking the best bundled provider should make sense in the medium term.
