Hi, I was offered a 2005 1.6 avensis approx 80,000 miles. A couple of bumps here and there. just wondering what the approximately value would be please. Asking price 3k.

I was going to say around 3k for a mint one. Obviously try and knock a few quid off that if the body work is not great.

I saw a 2005 1.6 petrol with 216,000 kms on the clock in O' Leary's Lissarda in Cork last year. The asking price was €4,500. There was a tow bar on the car and there was bad bump on the bumper and scratches from a trailer hitch. It may have been owned by a farmer (KY reg). The car looked tired.

It was sold within a few weeks.

Main dealer asking price after prepping the car for sale and warranting it is a completely different story to what it's worth though.
