Hey there. So I found out my ex has been cheating on me for our whole relationship. We have been going out for nearly 2 years. I found out about a week and a half ago. We haven't really spoke since and my head has been spinning the past week with lots of different questions and scenarios that I want answers to. Do you think I should meet with him this weekend to get all my questions answered or do you think its better just for me to try move on without knowing what happened and why he did it? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

OP in your other thread you said your ex never told the truth and you felt he was suffering from mental issues. What makes you think he will give you truthful answers if you meet him. He will probably lie to you, tell you want you want to hear, try to manipulate you back into a relationship and make you feel sorry for him.

Stay well away from him you won't get the answers you want.

He will only tell you what he wants you to hear. I don't know what you think you'll get out of it, he will probably just make you feel worse. You've had lots of good advice but you are persisting in trying to find a good reason for staying in touch with this chancer. Why do you think so little of yourself that you are even thinking about this?

He lied to you for 2 years? Why do you think he'd start telling the truth now? He'd tell you half truths or make up something just to please you but you won't get the truth out of him so don't even bother asking. A good line I've heard here is that a liar will only admit to what they've been caught out on... Even theb they might try worm out of it or twist it. It's difficult when you are an honest, trusting person to get your head around things like this. It's alien to you. That's why you want to get answers to make sense of it. The only thing you need to know is some people are arseholes.

    That's it.

This is your third thread in five days on the same issue. Kindly refrain from starting any more new threads and perhaps think about speaking to a professional if you find you're not coping. Best of luck.
