Retained Afterbirth

    Have a cow calves since Sunday who has retained part of the afterbirth is there a shot I can give her to pass it??

    Is it Oxytocin people give cows to hep pass the cleaning but it's probably too late to give that. I'd be giving her 50ccs of Betamox LA every second day or something like that to cover her against infection and get a vet to look at her if she hasn't cleaned a week after calving.

    have her covered for infection already and I'd say it's only a small portion retained I'll chance her till Sat and get the vet thanks
